Here are some of my most recent (and favourite) creations.

For the last 2 weeks I have been inspired and creating at break-neck speeds. I have some really great new re-purposed vintage jewelry made with pieces that I acquired in vintage markets during my recent Philadelphia trip. I also made a few new geektastic creations for my page filled with pieces inspired by comics, anime, pop culture, and movies. But the thing I am most excited about lately is my updated L’il Lard butt series. I am creating as many as possible to sell as originals, but will also be launching a line of home goods inspired by those same originals. STAY TUNED!

More Robots, more She-Ra, a modern shamanic bauble, and Jupiter and Danae

The cutest Mr Roboto ever. Double strand vintage silver chain, adjustable from 16-18 inches. Only $30!

She-Ra hand-painted comic book earrings! Updated, $38

In my college art history and mythology classes I learned of Jupiter and Danae and the resulting pregnancy from His shower of golden coins. I was always fascinated and also pondered if it was a twist on a tale of prostitution. The painting depicting the golden coin act were always a wonder to behold. With those in mind I created this piece, made with vintage gold plated chains and agate coin gemstones. $42

Finally, here is a take on the modern Shaman, created wih vintage silver chains, silver titanium quartz, and skul and arrow charms. Only $25!!

Have a great day!

She-Ra in my heart, and on canvas

I have been a wee bit obsessed with She-Ra and the Great Rebellion since I was a little boy. My grandfather worked for Mattel and I would get all the new He-Man and Hot Wheels toys as soon as they came out. My cousin Jennifer would get the She-Ra figures and I burned with jealousy. My parents took notice of this building rage and decided to get me every figure made in the Princess of Power line one sweet Christmas. With each package opened my joy would expand and explode all over the place. I might have sequestered myself into my loft bedroom for many days in a row acting out scenes of Frosta playing house with Panthro and Glimmer shacking up with Fisto. (Lucky ladies)

Years later and I find myself still obsessed, but not just with the toys. I get to do the grown up thing now and paint them!

Here are but a few examples of pieces I have made. Keep in mind I take custom requests and can make you your very own favorite childhood hero/heroine piece at any time!
